SES Thespians Are "One Step Closer To Being Famous"

The SES Theatre Department's dedication became quite evident last week, when students Jack Engel, Owen Miller, Cavanaugh Corrie, Savannah Brown and Sophia Cetrulo traveled with the Bakers to the State Thespian Competition during their time off from school.

Senior Owen Miller says, "I had a lot of fun at the state competition this year during my Spring Break. My favorite activity while I was there was participating in the workshops they offered. My favorite workshop that I did would either be learning Hamilton Choreo or the Beetlejuice Choreo. I am pleased to have scored a Superior on my monologues and would recommend future thespians to experience this competition."

Junior Jack Engel proclaims, "We’re all one step closer to being famous! Thank you Mrs. and Mr. Baker for such a spectacular opportunity! I proudly represent… troupe 601…… 1 🤩"

This talented group of thespians came home with all Superior and Excellent ratings, with Owen Miller receiving a Superior for his monologue and Savannah Brown receiving a Superior for her song. Congratulations to all!
