Varsity Boys Lacrosse Crowned District Runners-Up
On 4/17/24, the varsity boys lacrosse team traveled to The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens to compete in the Class 1A District 8 Finals. The Pirates fought hard against the Buccaneers, finishing the first quarter tied 3-3. Despite their best efforts on the field, the Pirates ultimately fell 5-15 to their opponents.
Will Russell led the scoreboard for the Pirate team with 2 goals and 1 assist. Scoring 1 goal apiece for the team were Connor O'Brien, Luke Herrman, and Keegan Nyman; and Harrison Hardin also added 1 assist. Nyman led the team in ground balls with 8 and faceoff wins with 19. At the net, Edwin Provancher made 8 saves.
On-the-field stats for the Pirate team include 16 ground balls, 16 shots on goal, and 20 faceoff wins.
