Pirates Crowned 2023-24 FHSAA 2A Overall Academic Team Champions
The Florida High School Athletic Association recently announced that Saint Edward's School was named the Class 2A Overall Academic Team Champions for the 2023-24 school year. This award serves to recognize student-athletes' performance in the classroom by looking at the highest overall GPA for each school in each classification. All FHSAA member senior high schools who have a team average of at least 3.0 on an unweighted 4.0 scale are eligible to be considered for the award each school year, and sports teams are awarded points each season based on each team's collective GPA ranking, which goes towards the final overall school total.
