JV Volleyball Hosts Centennial
On 9/10/24, the junior varsity volleyball team faced off at home against the St. Lucie West Centennial High School Eagles in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Pirates fought hard on the court but ultimately fell in 2 sets: 22-25, 20-25. The Pirate junior varsity team is now 5-1 for the season.
Joselyn Martin led the Pirates on the court with 3 kills and 2 aces, and Charlotte Folger provided much needed defense with 2 blocks and 2 kills. Halle Grella tallied 3 kills and 1 ace, and teammate Piper McCollom recorded 2 kills and 1 ace. Lily O'Brien also contributed 1 kill for the Pirate team.
