Grade 2 Goes into the Wild

The second-grade class visited McKee Botanical Garden this week but with a twist! Sra. Arias wove Spanish lessons into the tour of the gardens, so students could expand their vocabulary in the sunshine amid plants and trees that were bursting with spring life. While volunteer guides talked to them about plant, animal and bug species, the students practiced their Spanish with delight and passion for nature.
