Summer Opportunities for Upper School Students: Courses for Credit and Test Prep
Read MoreJolly Roger Adventures is offering a variety of enriching summer opportunities designed specifically for upper school students looking to get ahead, earn credit or prepare for college entrance exams.
The Health course is required for all rising freshmen and must be taken either during the freshman school year or during the summer. The summer session is from May 30 - June 5 and covers essential topics in physical and mental health, nutrition and fitness. Students looking to sharpen their academic edge can enroll in Study Skills, offered in two separate sessions: June 2 - 6 (afternoons) or June 9 - 13 (mornings). The class emphasizes study techniques alongside leadership qualities like emotional intelligence, adaptability and self-motivation. For students preparing for college admissions, both SAT and ACT Bootcamps are available. The SAT Bootcamp runs June 2 - 6, and the ACT Bootcamp follows June 9 - 13. Each course includes daily section practice, strategy development and skill-building in key areas like reading, grammar and math.These courses offer a great way for students to stay academically engaged during the summer while setting themselves up for future success. JRA offers a wide variety of after-school programs for students of all ages. Once registration is open for JRA after-school and extended-day programs users can click on the link to log in to CampBrain and register. *New users will need to create a new account, then choose Start a New Application.

2024-25 Little Pirates STAY & PLAY Program Information (PDF)
STAY & PLAY for Little Pirates is offered daily from 11:45 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. This program begins at 11:45 a.m. Students attending will be taken directly to the Stay & Play classroom instead of to the 11:45 a.m. pick-up line. The program ends at the end of the regular school day at 3:25 p.m. with dismissal in the Lower School parking area.
