Continuous Enrollment

Re-Enrollment Made Simple

Each year at Saint Edward’s School, more than 90% of students annually re-enroll for the following school year. We love our students and are proud to see such strong retention numbers year after year, but re-enrollment just has not been simple enough for families.

In order to simplify the process for SES families, we are happy to announce a truly “evergreen” Continuous Enrollment Contract which will allow our students to remain continuously enrolled until their graduation.

After the 2025-26 school year, you will no longer be required to complete and sign a re-enrollment contract. Instead, you will receive a School Annual Notification which will outline:
  • Updated tuition and fee information for the upcoming year
  • Instructions on adjusting your payment plan or tuition insurance selection
  • A reminder of the opt-out process, and key deadlines
In addition, you will receive a simple form annually in the MySTEDS portal detailing these same items. After the deadline stated in the School’s Annual Notice, the forms will be processed and will remain accessible in MySTEDS under Files and Forms. If parents have not opted out by the stated deadline, the family will be billed the 10% deposit. It is that simple.

For 2025-26 enrollment, you will be sent instructions on completing your last Continuous Enrollment Contract. It is important that you complete and submit your child’s contract on or before February 15.

By completing the Continuous Enrollment process this year, you will never have to think about re-enrollment at Saint Edward’s School again! We know you will appreciate the simpler process and guaranteed classroom placement that Continuous Enrollment provides.

List of 13 frequently asked questions.

  • Why Continuous Enrollment?

We have listened to parent feedback and understand that an annual re-enrollment process coincides with an already busy time of year and that a multi-page contract to review each year is time-consuming and confusing for parents. Our goal is to simplify the process for families with the understanding that their child will be automatically re-enrolled at SES until graduation unless the parents choose to opt out. The School may also choose to cancel a contract for academic, behavioral, or financial reasons.
  • What is Continuous Enrollment?

Continuous Enrollment eliminates the tedious process of filling out online enrollment every year and replaces it with a simple opt-out option to withdraw from Saint Edward’s School. With Continuous Enrollment, your child’s enrollment contract will be valid from the year of enrollment until he/she graduates from Saint Edward’s School or until the withdrawal process is complete.
  • What will Continuous Enrollment look like in future years?

The School’s Annual Notification will update parents regarding the tuition, deposit, finance charges, and other related fees for the next academic year. Families will be sent access to a form behind the password on mySTEDS providing this same information which can be accessed at any time. Parents will also be given the opportunity to make any changes to their previous payment plan, billing, and tuition insurance selections. The School’s Annual Notification will also remind parents of the opt-out process and deadlines. Families that do not opt out by the deadline will be billed the deposit and will be considered re-enrolled for the following school year.
  • What are the benefits of Continuous Enrollment?

Simplicity. You will be able to take this long re-enrollment process off your list. Guaranteed placement. We are either at or near capacity in many of our grades. By signing a Continuous Enrollment contract, you will be securing that coveted seat for your child.
  • Why do we need to sign a Continuous Enrollment contract this year?

Having families sign the new Continuous Enrollment contract confirms that families fully understand the new policy and requirements. We ask parents to read the Terms and Conditions of the Continuous Enrollment contract and indicate their agreement with their signature.
  • What if I change my mind about my current tuition payment plan or billing option?

The school's Annual Notification will detail how to make these changes. For any related questions, you may also contact Student Billing.
  • What will the tuition rates be for the new school year?

Tuition rates for the upcoming school year will be posted to the school’s website annually. Additionally, tuition, deposit, finance charges and other related fees will be listed in the school’s Annual Notification.
  • How does Continuous Enrollment work if I am applying for Variable Tuition as well?

Families applying for Variable Tuition will receive a separate communication annually detailing any awards granted prior to the opt-out deadline. Families will have the option to opt out of the Continuous Enrollment contract or pay the deposit to remain enrolled for the following year.
  • I am enrolling a new sibling. What do I need to do?

Complete the online application process by visiting the How to Apply page on the school’s website or use the application tile on the parents’ resource board tab in mySTEDS.

  • How do we notify SES if we do not plan on returning?

Parents must notify the Director of Enrollment Management via email by the deadline communicated in the school’s Annual Notification.
  • What if I am behind on my account?

All accounts must be kept current to receive a schedule, a guaranteed seat in class, or records. SES reserves the right to not guarantee your class placement if there is an outstanding balance.
  • What is the penalty if I break this agreement?

If parent completes the opt-out option for their child prior to the stated deadline, no deposit will be collected. If parent cancels the contract after that date but prior to the stated cancellation deadline, they will forfeit their nonrefundable deposit but not be responsible for tuition payments for the coming school year. If the contract is canceled after the stated cancellation deadline, the family will be financially responsible for the entire tuition for the following school year. Please note that there are options to purchase tuition insurance that can help protect parents against unforeseen circumstances.

  • What if I change my mind after the deadline?

All deposits are non-refundable. After the stated cancellation deadline, families will be responsible for the full contracted tuition amount. Families who opt out of the Continuous Enrollment Contract by the stated deadline and later decide to enroll must contact the Office of Enrollment Management for space availability. There will be no guarantee of a seat for that student.
