Varsity Volleyball Holds Back Greyhounds
The varsity volleyball team hosted Lincoln Park Academy on 8/30/24 in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Pirates took down the greyhounds on the court in straight sets: 25-23, 25-22, 25-12.
Makena Rodriguez led the team in kills with 13, digs with 23, and aces with 5. Margaret Fykes made vital contributions on the floor for the Pirate team, collecting 17 assists, 3 aces, and 8 digs. Grace Clemente tallied 10 kills and 7 digs in the Pirate victory, and Natalee Rogers amassed 1 kill, 2 assists, and 12 digs. Alice Crean posted 3 kills, 5 digs, and 1 block
Also contributing to the Pirates' successful night were Maddie Moscrip with 6 digs, Sommer Soderman with 1 assist and 5 digs, Grace Fykes with 1 assist and 4 digs, Grace Griffeth with 1 dig and 2 blocks, and Khlieo Perez with 1 block.
