Varsity Swimmers Show Improved Times at Recent Meet
On 10/5/24, the varsity swimming team competed in the Dr. George Kojac Sprint Invitational at the Indian River State College Pool in Fort Pierce. Several of the swimmers found themselves improving personal times in their events at this large and competitive meet, including Matthew Burris, who posted an 8-second drop in the 200 Freestyle in 3 days; Alexander Wolek, who recorded his best time yet in the 200 Freestyle; and Addison Logemann, who dropped 5 seconds in the 200 Freestyle. Sixth grader Jack Newman collected 4 ribbons for the Pirates in his 12 & Under events. Results for individual events can be viewed below:
