Varsity Boys Basketball Pulls Off Victory Over Eagles
On 1/14/25, the varsity boys basketball team hosted Morningside Academy in the Wachter Activities Center. A thrilling game until the end, the Pirates grabbed the 54-53 victory over the Eagles.
Cody Simmonds racked up 26 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Jayzere Cannon collected 17 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals. Gary Anderson led the Pirates in blocks with 7 and contributed 5 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Carson Yates recorded 3 points, and Wyatt Burdick provided 2 points and 3 rebounds for the Pirates. Daniel Clemente brought 1 point and 1 rebound, and Kaleb Jones added 1 assist and 1 steal. Rushil Sura recorded 1 steal in the Pirate victory.
