Varsity Volleyball Takes on Cougars
On 10/3/24, the varsity volleyball team traveled to Merritt Island to compete against Merritt Island Christian School. The Pirates fought hard on the court but ultimately fell to the Cougars: 20-25, 13-25, 25-23, 16-25.
Leading the Pirates in kills with 16, Makena Rodriguez put up 3 aces and 12 digs for the Pirate team. Margaret Fykes recorded 4 kills, 21 assists, and 10 digs. Natalee Rogers led the Pirates in digs with 15. Sommer Soderman provided 2 assists, 2 aces, and 11 digs. Maddie Moscrip tallied 12 digs, and Grace Clemente collected 6 kills and 6 digs.
Additional gameday highlights: Grace Fykes - 2 assists, 7 digs; Alice Crean - 4 kills, 1 dig; Grace Griffeth - 2 blocks; Khlieo Perez - 2 kills.
