Heartbreaker for Varsity Volleyball at Pine School
The varsity volleyball team traveled to Hobe Sound on 9/13/24 to face off against the Knights. The Pirates won the first 2 sets: 25-18, 25-22, but fell in the next 2 sets: 15-25, 21-25. The Pirates never wavered in their determination in the 5th set but ultimately fell to the Knights 11-15.
Margaret Fykes had a big game for the Pirates with 2 kills, 26 assists, 4 aces, 20 digs, and 3 blocks. Makena Rodriguez put up 13 kills, 2 aces, and 22 digs, and Grace Clemente recorded 15 kills, 13 digs, and 1 block for the determined Pirate team. Grace Fykes tallied 2 kills, 1 assist, 2 aces, and 10 digs in the matchup.
