Grey Team for MS Boys Basketball Comes Out Hot in Season Opener
The grey team for middle school boys basketball hosted Morningside Academy on 11/11/24 for their first game of the season in the Wachter Activities Center. Eager to begin their winter season, the Pirates showed great teamwork on the court to overwhelm the Eagles 21-2.
Henry Logemann led the Pirates on the scoreboard with 6 points. Brady Whitelock netted 4 points, and Max Conforti sank 3 points toward the victory. Teammates CJ Drake, Charlie Barnett, Alex Andrews, and Chris Perrin recorded 2 points apiece in the Pirates' strong season opener. In addition to putting up points, Barnett was instrumental with his passing and moved the ball really well for the Pirates. An exceptional defensive front was given by Rylan McLaughlin to help keep the Eagles at bay.
Next game is at home on 11/18/24 versus Master's Academy of Vero Beach, starting at 3:30 PM.
