Thanksgiving Break

My last few letters have been extremely long, so I promise this one will be short. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving Break. Mimi and I (and our dog, Ranger) are heading to the North Georgia Mountains on Sunday through Friday. We have rented a cabin near the Coosawattee River Resort and will be joined by my parents.

In years past, when we hosted large Thanksgiving dinner gatherings, I would borrow the flags from our PE department and we would play flag football a few hours before dinner. The games took on a new meaning when the losing team had to clean up the dishes and kitchen after dinner. Needless to say, we played hard!

Speaking of football, tomorrow the Army Black Knights (9-0) play Notre Dame (9-1) in Yankee Stadium. I know who Danny Colontrelle will be pulling for! Go Army!

Enjoy your week. If you are traveling, please be safe. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families. We will see you in December!

I look forward to seeing you around campus!
