The varsity football team hosted their first game of the regular season at home on 8/23/24 against the Orangewood Christian School Rams. The Pirates took control on the Michael J. Mersky Field with a true team effort, giving a strong showing and handily defeating the Rams 37-23.
Nate Sparkman and Nicky Colontrelle both posted record-breaking numbers for the Pirate team. Sparkman went 22 of 27 for 383 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Colontrelle tallied 11 catches for 231 yards and 3 touchdowns. Connor O'Brien led the Pirates defensively with 7 total tackles.
