On 8/29/24, the varsity boys golf team played host to King's Academy at Grand Harbor Golf Club in Vero Beach in their opening match of the regular season. The Pirates remained steadfast on the course but ultimately fell to the Lions 177-145.
The Pirates were led by a strong performance by Bobby Varricchio who both shot a 40 and was followed up by Weston Mead with a 42. Dylan Orzechowski sank a 45 and Fields Hoffmann rounded out the score for the Pirates with a 49. Also playing for the Pirate team were Jacob Lindstedt with 51 and Victor Hagman with 55.
Next match is away on 9/4/24 versus John Carroll Catholic High School, starting at 3:30 PM at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie.
