Strong Opening Season Game for Varsity Girls Basketball
The varsity girls basketball team hosted Master's Academy of Vero Beach in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center for their season-opening game on 11/19/24. Playing well as a team on both the offensive and defensive sides, the Pirates overwhelmed the Patriots on the floor to ensure the 53-19 victory.
Avonti Jennings led the scorers with 17 points. Halle Grella sank 8 points, and Gaby Collazo and Amajyn Cannon netted 6 apiece. Teammates Sommer Soderman, Adterria Holloway, and Tirzah Boulding record 4 points apiece. Rounding out the Pirates' victory were Shaniya Bryant and Nahlia Hebig, each with 2 points.
