Varsity Boys Basketball Powers Past Jupiter Christian
The varsity boys basketball team headed to Jupiter on 12/6/24 to face off against Jupiter Christian School. The Pirates took down the Eagles on the court, winning 58-48.
Leading the Pirates on the court were Jayzere Cannon with 15 points, including three 3-pointers, as well as 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals, and Cody Simmonds with 14 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Gary Anderson racked up 13 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 6 blocks. Teammates Carson Yates, who had 3 rebounds, and Cole Register, who also had 2 rebounds and 2 steals, netted 5 points apiece. Kaleb Jones went 4 for 4 in free throws, netting 4 points for the Pirate team, along with 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Daniel Clemente recorded 2 points and 8 rebounds in the victory. Wyatt Burdick enhanced the Pirates' chances with 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal, and Rushil Sura provided 2 rebounds and 3 assists.
