JV Volleyball Takes Down Pineapple Cove
The junior varsity volleyball team traveled to Pineapple Cove Classical Academy in Palm Bay on 8/28/24 to take on the Patriots. The Lady Pirates dominated the 1st set against their opponents 25-14 but narrowly fell to the Patriots in the 2nd set with a close 23-25 score. The Pirates rallied in the 3rd set to walk away the victors with their 15-13 lead.
Lily O'Brien led the way for the Pirates with 6 kills and 5 aces, and teammate Cairi Infanzon provided valuable contributions toward the win with 17 assists and 2 aces. Charlotte Folger tallied 2 kills and 5 aces on the floor, Joselyn Martin provided 1 kill and 5 aces, and Jenessa Kendall added 3 kills and 1 assist. Also contributing kills to the Pirates' successful day were Halle Grella with 4, Mia Maldonado with 2 and Bebe Busch-Dunford with 1.
