JV Volleyball Conquers Knights
On 9/13/24, the junior varsity volleyball team traveled to The Pine School in Hobe Sound to take on the Knights. Despite falling 22-25 in a spirited first set, the Pirates came together to put away the Knights 25-21 in the second set and 15-7 in the third set.
Leading the Pirates to victory were Halle Grella with 8 kills, 1, assist, and 5 aces; Lily O'Brien with 6 kills and 2 aces; and Piper McCollom with 2 kills, 20 assists, 1 ace, and 8 digs. Jenessa Kendall recorded 4 kills for the Pirate team, and Bebe Busch-Dunford tallied 1 kill and 2 aces. Adding 1 kill apiece toward the win were Ashley Dube and Mia Maldonado.
