MS Football Halts Rams
The middle school football team hit the road for Maitland on 9/19/24 to take on the Orangewood Christian School Rams. The Pirates proved fierce opponents on the field as they took down the Rams 32-14.
Kayleb Redmon threw for 3 touchdowns for the Pirate team and had a forced fumble with a fumble recovery for a defensive touchdown. Cyprian McIntosh had a big game with an 80 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Jackson Parker, Triston Scent, and Nolan Ange all claimed touchdown receptions for the Pirate team. Chris Curley recorded a 2-point conversion reception. On defense, Ange and Shane Carroll had interceptions, and teammate Liam Boltrek contributed a fumble recovery in the Pirate victory.
