MS Cross Country Teams Make Strides at Indian River Invite #2
The middle school cross country team competed in the Indian River County Invitational #2 at the Indian River County Fairgrounds in Vero Beach on 9/21/24. The Pirates faired well at the meet, with much of the team dropping their times to set new personal records.
Max Conforti finished 2nd overall for the boys with a new personal record of 12:32.90. Hartley Postlethwaite finished 30th, and Christian Peter recorded a 32nd place finish with a new personal record. Reeve Buza finished 41st to set a new personal record.
Laura Lenzner led the girls team and set a new personal best time with her 14th place finish time of 17:33.60. Competing in her first race, Jaiya Hebig finished 18th place with 18:28.90. Sophia Hauf recorded a new personal best time at 18:39.60 to finish 26th.
