Varsity Cross Country Takes Part in Jensen Beach Invite

On 10/1/24, the varsity cross country teams traveled to Jensen Beach High School in Jensen Beach to compete in the Jensen Beach Invitational. Both the boys team and the girls team each finished the competition in 4th place overall.

For the boys, Jack Curley led the pack with his 10th place overall individual finish at his personal best 18:04. Bobby Campbell finished 28th place, and Spencer Taft placed 32nd. Aiden Bryant set a personal record time of 21:34 to finish 36th. Jamin Dunham finished the race in 41st place, Chris Perrin finished 52nd, Cam Perrin finished 54th, and Chris Campbell finished 58th.

For the girls, Jacquelyn Perrin finished individually in 16th place overall with her season's best time of 23:07. Both running personal records, teammates Sophie Cooper and Stephanie Storts finished in 25th and 26th place respectively. Cadence Callaghan set a personal record time of 24:39 with her 30th place finish. Isabella Peter finished 38th with a new personal record of 25:24, and Emma Ramsay finished 59th and dropped 1:21 off her personal record for a time of 27:51.
 
Next meet is away on 10/5/24 at The Pine School in Hobe Sound, starting at 7:30 AM.
