End of the Year Celebrations

We have 7.5 school days left in the 2023-24 school year. The Class of 2024 officially becomes Saint Edward’s alumni one week from tomorrow. They join the ranks of 2,531 alumni of record. Next week, we also begin the award ceremonies in the Upper School, and the following week, we end the academic year celebrating the middle and lower school students.

The end-of-year school celebrations hold a significant place in the hearts and minds of students, faculty and parents alike. It is more than marking the conclusion of another academic year; these celebrations are just that, a celebration of accomplishment and closure. It also allows students the opportunity to set academic goals for the coming year.

Beyond the individual significance, end-of-year school celebrations also contribute to the overall school culture and spirit. They create a sense of unity and pride among students, parents and faculty. Believe me when I say that our faculty takes as much pride in the success of our students as the students and parents do. Nothing gives an educator greater satisfaction than watching students work hard throughout the year to accomplish their goals.

To our students, while we end the year in celebration mode, please take a moment to thank the faculty for all they did to help you along the way. This group of professionals cares deeply about you and deserves to be celebrated as well.

Let the celebrations begin!

I look forward to seeing you around campus!
