Varsity Boys Basketball Conquers Pineapple Cove
On 1/28/25, the varsity boys basketball team traveled to Palm Bay to take on Pineapple Cove Classical Academy. The Pirates dominated the floor against the Patriots, bringing home a 60-43 victory.
Cody Simmonds led the Pirates into battle with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Gary Anderson topped the Pirate stats in rebounds with 11 and blocks with 8, in addition to racking up 4 points, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Kaleb Jones grabbed 11 points and 6 rebounds in the victory. Wyatt Burdick collected 7 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block; and Cole Register tallied 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Carson Yates recorded 5 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals for the Pirates. Scoring 4 points each, Daniel Clemente also nabbed 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block, while teammate Seorim McLendon added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.
