The varsity baseball team took on Calvary Chapel Academy at home on 2/13/25 on Blue Diamond Field. The Pirates saw an incredible 10-1 first inning, holding the Eagles scoreless for the remaining 3 innings. The Pirates declared victory in the end, clinching their 16-1 triumph over the Eagles.
At the mound, Graham Hutton pitched 2 innings, with 3 batters struck out. Reid Morris pitched for 2 innings as well and accumulated 6 strikeouts. In fielding stats for the Pirates, Caden Freedman recorded 9putouts. Brayden Schraw and Cooper Harp each collected 1 putout. Trey Dunlap provided 1 assist.
At bat for the Pirates, Hutton saw 3 hits, 3 runs, 3 RBIs, a double, and a triple, and teammate Freedman had 2 hits, 3 runs, 3 RBIs, and a double. Nolan Ange collected 2 hits, 2 runs, and a stolen base, and Harp collected 2 runs, 1 hit, 1 RBI, and 2 stolen bases. R. Morris saw 1 run, 3 hits, 2 RBIs, a double, and 3 stolen bases, and Jaden Jackson had 2 runs and 1 RBI for the Pirates. Schraw saw 2 hits, and Dunlap recorded 1 run and 1 stolen base. Rounding out the successful night for the Pirates were Will Morris and Liam Dyer, each recording 1 run.
