Varsity Baseball Wows Bulldogs

On 2/18/25, the varsity baseball team played in their first road game of the season at Berean Christian School in West Palm Beach. The Pirates saw themselves down 0-1 in the 1st innings and saw a scoreless 2nd inning for both sides. Rallying in the 3rd inning, the Pirates even the score 1-1. Working together, the Pirate team took charge in the 4th inning, increasing their lead to 4-1. After a scoreless 5th inning, the Pirates put away the Bulldogs in the 6th inning with a 10-1 victory.

At the mound, Caden Freedman pitched all 6 innings, with 14 batters struck out. In fielding stats for the Pirates, catcher Cyprian McIntosh recorded 14 putouts. Brayden Schraw recorded 2 putouts, and Graham Hutton provided 2 assists. Teammates Nolan Ange and Trey Dunlap each collected 1 putout.

At bat for the Pirates, Freedman recorded 2 runs, 1 hit, 1 RBI, and 1 stolen base, and Hutton had 2 hits, 1 run, 2 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases. Morris saw 1 hit, 1 run, 2 RBIs, and a stolen base for the Pirate team. Jaden Jackson recorded 2 runs, 1 hit, and 1 stolen base, and Griffin Hutton added 2 runs. Ange accrued 1 run and 2 stolen bases, and Cooper Harp saw 1 run. Dunlap recorded 1 RBI, and McIntosh added 1 stolen base for the Pirates.
