Varsity Boys Lacrosse Soars Over Falcons
The varsity boys lacrosse team hosted the Jensen Beach High School Falcons on 2/18/25 in Pirate Stadium. The Pirates were raring to go on the field, leading their opponents 11-0 at the half and holding the Falcons scoreless until the 4th quarter. The Pirates finished their successful day 16-1.
Keegan Nyman led the Pirates on the scoreboard with 5 goals. Teammates Connor O'Brien and Chris Campbell roared into battle with 4 goals and 2 assists apiece. Brady McCoy netted 1 goal and 1 assist for the PIrate team. Charlie Corrigan and Beckley Waldrop recorded 1 goal apiece. Providing an assist each were Bobby Campbell and Turner Barnett. In faceoffs, Nyman recorded 9 wins, Matthew Vatland saw 2 wins, and Bobby Varricchio had 1 win. Goalie Edwin Provancher had 5 saves on 5 shots on goal, and David Vazquez had 1 save on 2 shots on goal.
