It is with great pleasure we announce the induction of Jon Bristow, class of 1995, as a member of the Saint Edward’s School Athletic Hall of Fame. Jon attended Saint Edward’s from 1990-1995.
During his Middle School years at St. Edward’s, he played JV football, Middle School soccer, Middle School lacrosse and Varsity football. During his Upper School years, he continued as a three-sport athlete, competing in Varsity football, soccer and lacrosse.
During his varsity years, Jon was a member of the Lacrosse State Championship team of 1993, and the 1995 State Runner-up team. He was named captain of the soccer team during his junior and senior seasons, and he was the lacrosse captain his senior year. Jon was named to the All-District Soccer Team in ’95 and was a member of the USILA All-American Lacrosse Team.
After his high school years, Jon attended Wingate University, where he continued his lacrosse career and was named captain for three years. He received All-Conference: Honorable Mention in 1998, First Team All-Conference in 1999 and was selected Honorable Mention to the preseason All-American Team in ‘99.
Jon has been working in wealth management in the Atlanta area since 2005. Currently, he works at BNY Mellon as a portfolio manager. He married his high school sweetheart, Beth Carstensen, right after graduating from Wingate. Their pride and joy are their 3 dogs; Samba, Lyla, and Nola.
