JV Boys Basketball Wraps Up Season with Win Against Patriots

The junior varsity boys basketball team traveled to Palm Bay for their last game of the regular season to take on Pineapple Cove Classical Academy. The PIrates jumped out to an early lead with key contributions from David Vazquez, Bobby Varricchio, and Trey Dunlap in the 1st half. Despite the Patriots' strong comeback attempts in the 4th quarter, the Pirates remained tough opponents to overcome. A key 3-pointer by Trip Williams, combined with turnovers caused by Syrus Cooper and late free throws from Reid Morris, helped the Pirates seal the 57-54 victory.

Dunlap led the Pirates on the scoreboard with 14 points, followed closely by teammate Varricchio with 13 points. Vazquez tallied 9 points, and Cooper netted 8. Williams collected 6 points, Morris contributed 5, and Mac Antle added 2.
