On 2/28/25, the varsity girls lacrosse team team hosted Viera High School on the Michael J. Mersky field. The Pirates dominated the Hawks from the opening draw, posting a final score of 16-9.
Margaret Fykes was strong in the center for the Pirate team, and Bebe Busch-Dunford recorded 8 draw controls. Lily O'Brien led the scoring with 4 goals and 3 assists, followed by Fykes with 4 goals and 1 assist. Kelly Lynch netted 3 goals and 1 assist, and Busch-Dunford tallied 2 goals and 3 assists. Teammates Aerin Russell, Blair Moore, and Emma Ramsay scored 1 goal apiece.
The defense, led by Madeline Richards, held Viera's top scorer to only 2 goals, both of which came late in the game. The Pirates kept the Hawks 4 points under their scoring average while Richards, Busch-Dunford, and Avery Orzechowski each reached their career 25 caused turnover milestone. Maddie Moscrip logged 5 saves on the night.
