Varsity Girls Lacrosse Subdues Panthers
The varsity girls lacrosse team traveled to Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale to go up against the Panthers. The Pirates soundly defeated the Panthers on the road 19-10.
Margaret Fykes led the Pirates on the field with 6 goals and 2 assists. Grace Fykes tallied 4 goals and 1 assist, and Bebe Busch-Dunford netted 4 goals. Aerin Russell sank 2 goals, and teammates Caitlin Moscrip, Lily O'Brien, and Emma Ramsay each added 1 goal in the Pirate victory. Busch-Dunford collected 8 draw control wins for the Pirates. M. Fykes saw 6 draw controls, and C. Moscrip won 4 draw controls. Maddie Moscrip made 6 saves at goal in the Pirates' successful night.
