When a coach says “he’s the kind of guy you wish you had 11 of”, as Coach Wachter did, you know you are talking about a special player. Collier Proctor, class of 2011, is that player. He was the quarterback here during his tenure at St. Ed’s and has been described as a great all-around athlete who had as much heart as ability. In 2010, under his leadership, Collier quarterbacked the Pirates to the SSAC State Championships, winning the game and completing an 11-0 undefeated season. He had a 63% completion rate that season, which led to being named to the All-SSAC and All-Area teams.
Collier took his great work ethic on to Middlebury College, where he shifted from quarterback to wide out. He was a part of the NESCAC championship team in 2013 (and the runners-up in 2012). We welcome Collier to the class of 2023 Saint Edward’s School Athletic Hall of Fame!
