Varsity Girls Tennis Breezes Past Hustlers
The varsity girls tennis team competed against Melbourne Central Catholic High School on the road on 2/26/25 at Fee Avenue Park Tennis Courts in Melbourne. The Pirates proved too much for the Hustlers on the courts, winning 6-1.
Winning singles matches for the Pirates were #2 Chandler Higdon (8-5), #3 Emmery Clarkson (8-1), #4 Alex Shackelton (8-2), and #5 Jenessa Kendall (8-0).
Winning their #1 doubles match was the team of Mia Maldonado and Kendall (8-3). Helping bring home the Pirate victory was the #2 doubles team of Clarkson/Higdon (8-3).
Winning an exhibition singles match was Sofia Corominas de Wit (8-0).
