Varsity Baseball Soars Over Calvary Chapel

On 3/25/25, the varsity baseball team traveled to Fred Poppe Regional Park in Palm Bay to play a rematch against Calvary Chapel Academy. The Pirates saw a 2-2 tie with the Eagles in the 1st inning, with both teams remaining scoreless in the 2nd and 3rd innings. The Pirates pushed ahead in the 4th inning, gaining more 5 runs against their opponents while continuing to shut out the Eagles for the 4th and 5th innings. The Pirates added 2 more runs in the 6th inning with the Eagles only recording 1 run. The Pirates claimed their ultimate victory in the 7th inning, winning the game 13-3.

Trey Dunlap pitched 4 innings at the mound, with 5 batters struck out. Graham Hutton pitched for 2 innings with 4 strikeouts, and Reid Morris pitched for inning with 3 strikeouts. In fielding stats for the Pirates, catcher Cyprian McIntosh led the Pirates in putouts with 10. Gra. Hutton, Dunlap, and Diego Leal saw 2 putouts apiece. Teammates Will Morris, Nolan Ange, Griffin Hutton, Brayden Schraw, and R. Morris each collected 1 putout.
