Varsity Girls Tennis Upsets MCC
On 4/1/25, the varsity girls tennis team faced off against Melbourne Central Catholic High School at Riverside Park Tennis Courts. The Pirates pulled off the upset against the Hustlers, winning 4-3.
Winning singles matches for the Pirates were #3 Mia Maldonado (8-1), #4 Chandler Higdon (8-0), and #5 Emmery Clarkson (8-0). Winning exhibition singles matches were Sofia Corominas de Wit (8-2), Addison Logemann (8-1), and Khlieo Perez (6-0).
Ensuring the victory for the Pirate team was the #2 doubles team of Maldonado and Jenessa Kendall, who clinched the matchup 8-0.
Next match is Senior Night on 4/7/25 versus Master's Academy of Vero, starting at 3:30 PM at Riverside Park Tennis Courts in Vero Beach.
