Varsity Girls Lacrosse Moves on to District Finals
The varsity girls lacrosse team hosted the Class 1A District 13 Semifinals on 4/14/25 in Pirate Stadium against Oxbridge Academy. The Pirates overwhelmed the Thunderwolves on the field, winning 17-3 and advancing to the District Finals.
Leading the scoreboard for the Pirates were CJ Fykes and Lily O'Brien with 3 goals each. Margaret Fykes brought in 2 goals and 1 assist, and Cami Colontrelle netted 2 goals. Caitlin Moscrip provided 1 goal and 2 assists; and teammates Emma Ramsay, Grace Fykes, and Kelly Lynch collected 1 goal and 1 assist apiece. Scoring 1 goal each were Blair Moore, Brooke Moore, and Aerin Russell. Bebe Busch-Dunford saw 1 assist and had 2 caused turnovers. At the goal, Maddie Moscrip collected 2 saves and had 1 interception, and Abbey Carter recorded 2 saves.
