Keira Murphy Takes Helm at Middle School

Keira Murphy joined Saint Edward’s as the new Head of our Middle School in July 2011. With more than 18 years experience in curriculum, supervision/evaluation, and parent communication and student life, Ms. Murphy has already set the pace for putting Saint Edward’s on the fast track to offering the best Middle School education in Florida. Formerly Head of Middle School at Louisville Collegiate School in Louisville, Kentucky, Keira holds a Masters’ in Education from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Kenyon College. In addition to extending an invitation to meet with every Middle School parent, Keira has met with the entire faculty and looks forward to knowing each and every student well. She loves teaching and finds the best model for success to be in developing the whole student. She has valuable personal experience in this area, with three children are joining the Pirate student community in August.
