The SES Experience

Saint Edward’s School has been a pillar of the Vero Beach community for over 60 years, and the reason for that is because our mission has never wavered. It is the guiding force for our leadership, our teachers and the families who entrust their children to us.

If curiosity is the engine of achievement, our teachers embody that ideal by committing to a wide range of continuing education experiences during the summer month. From studying art history in Europe or exploring underwater ocean currents in the Philippines to collaborating with colleagues from around the country and beyond, our teachers learn from top industry experts and bring this knowledge home to our students and their SES colleagues. There is no school in the world that is better than its teachers, and we are blessed to have a faculty who is deeply committed to the education and success of our students.

We have high expectations for our student’s success, but with that comes unparalleled support. Small class sizes create an environment that allows for individual attention and differentiation. In fact, many of our alumni are so connected to the School that they return to become teachers themselves. We are here to mentor, stimulate, provoke, and engage.
Our goal is to be agile for our students and to be responsive to their needs. Our success can be measured in a number of ways, but when year after year our students perform over 100 points higher than other Florida students on the SAT, and over 90% of our students are accepted to their first or second choice college, we clearly have a formula that works.
