Varsity Baseball Extinguishes the Firehawks
The varsity baseball team hit the road for the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Melbourne on 4/8/25 to go head-to-head with the Brevard HEAT. The Pirates took an early 8-0 lead in the 1st inning and never looked back, bringing home the ultimate 11-0 win.
At the mound for the Pirate team, Reid Morris pitched 5 innings and recorded 8 strikeouts. In fielding stats, catcher Cyprian McIntosh accumulated 8 putouts. Trey Dunlap collected 2 putouts, and teammates Graham Hutton, Nolan Ange, Griffin Hutton, Brayden Schraw, and Cooper Harp each contributed 1 putout.
At bat for the Pirate team, Schraw recorded 1 run, 1 hit, 1 RBI, and a triple. Harp saw 2 runs, 1 hit, 2 bases on balls, 1 RBI, and a stolen base; and Will Morris amassed 2 runs, 1 hit, and 1 RBI.
