Competitive Matchup for MS Boys Lacrosse Against Mariners
The middle school boys lacrosse team hosted Jupiter Middle School on 3/21/25 in Pirate Stadium. Despite being down 0-1 at the end of the 1st quarter, the Pirates doubled down in the 2nd quarter to tie the Mariners 1-1 going into the half. The teams traded goals, tying the score 2-2 by the 4th quarter. A final goal by their opponents toward the end of the riveting matchup saw the Pirates narrowly fall to the Mariners 2-3.
Shane Carroll scored the first goal for the Pirate team off an assist from Triston Scent, and Baxter Corrigan netted the second goal for the Pirates. Jackson Parker saw a 75% win rate at faceoffs. Providing the Pirates with solid performances on defense were Max Conforti, Guy Wengler, Jack Della Porta, Scent, and Charlie Barnett. Will Fox made an impressive 16 saves at the goal.
