JV Volleyball Faces John Carroll
Junior varsity volleyball hosted John Carroll Catholic High School on 9/18/24 in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The hardworking Pirate team took the first set 25-22 over the Golden Rams but fell in the next two close sets: 15-25, 12-15. The season record for the junior varsity volleyball team is now 7-2.
Joselyn Martin provided 3 kills and 2 aces for the Pirate team, and Halle Grella recorded 4 kills, 1 ace, and 1 dig. Lily O'Brien put forth 4 kills and 1 ace. Piper McCollom led the team in assists with 13 and also collected 2 aces and 1 block. Jenessa Kendall contributed 1 kill and 1 assist, and Mia Maldonado added 2 kills.
