JV Volleyball Extinguishes Brevard HEAT
The junior varsity volleyball team faced off at home against the Brevard HEAT on 9/20/24. Despite falling 15-25 in the first set, the Pirates came together on the court to put away their opponents in the next two sets to claim the victory: 25-16 and 15-5.
Lily O'Brien led the Pirates in kills with 5 and added 3 aces toward the win. Halle Grella led the team in both blocks with 3 and aces with 7 and collected 4 kills. Joselyn Martin recorded 2 kills, 1 assist, and 1 ace for the Pirates, and teammate Jenessa Kendall contributed 3 kills. Ashley Dube and Mia Maldonado netted 2 kills apiece, and Piper McCollom added 1 ace to round out the successful night for the Pirate team.
