Close Game for JV Volleyball Against Okeechobee
On 9/27/24, the junior varsity volleyball team played host to Okeechobee High School in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Pirates won their first set 25-18 but fell to the Brahmans in the final sets: 19-25, 12-15.
Piper McCollom came out strong on the court with 3 kills, 13 assists, and 5 aces. Halle Grella tallied 9 kills for the Pirate team, and Lily O'Brien collected 4 kills, 1 ace, and 5 digs. Joselyn Martin put up 5 kills and 3 aces in the effort. Jenessa Kendall tallied 3 kills. Teammates Mida Maldonado and Ashley Dube contributed 1 kill each, and Nahlia Hebig scored 1 ace.
