Varsity Boys Weightlifting Has Great Showing at Districts

The varsity boys weightlifting team competed in the Class 1A District 13 Tournament at Frostproof Middle-Senior High School on 3/27/25. Overall, the Pirates placed 4th in both the Traditional and the Olympic categories. Lifters qualifying to compete in Olympic at the Class 1A Region 4 Tournament are Rome Barker, Campbell Brown, Alexander Wolek, Nicholas Rummel, Kaan Mimaroglu, Caden Nelson, and Brody Crookshank. Regional qualifiers in Traditional are Brown, Barker, Wolek, Rummel, and Crookshank. Individual scores for the Pirate team are below:
