    Litte Marine Biologist: Sea Turtles

    Is your kid a future marine biologist? In this after school program, kids will learn how to perform a physical exam of a sea turtle, how to combat injuries on sea turtles, learn about the ocean and its inhabitants, and create models of the ocean, marine animals, and tools. They will receive their own plushie patient to take on the role of a veterinarian. As a class, students will work together to rescue, rehabilitate, and "release" our plushie Leatherback sea turtles. We will finish with the sea turtle release as the students graduate and receive a personalized Little Medical School diploma!

Our expert instructors use playful drills and games to teach basic skills and foster a love for sports. Interactive Play: Activities are tailored to be fun and engaging, helping children develop coordination, teamwork, and motor skills in a supportive environment. A tinker is "one who experiments with materials and ideas to fully understand their capacities, and who further iterates on their learning to find better solutions to current problems. Tinkering is about hands-on experiences, learning from failures, and unstructured time to explore and invent." In this class, students will have the opportunity to tinker with a variety of materials, scientific concepts, and engineering practices in order to solve fun challenges. This class will include LEGO Robotics and K'NEX challenges.

In this class, students will have the opportunity to tinker with a variety of materials, scientific concepts, and engineering practices in order to solve fun challenges. This class will include LEGO Robotics and K'NEX challenges.

    Get ready to move and groove with our Dance It Off After-School Class! Join Mrs. Miner for a high-energy program that combines the fun and excitement of Zumba with a variety of dance styles and popular songs to keep kids active and entertained. We dance to a playlist of kid-friendly hits and classic favorites. From pop and rock to hip-hop and international beats, there’s a tune for everyone to enjoy. While dancing and having a blast, kids will also improve their coordination, flexibility, gross motor skills, and overall fitness. Our activities promote a healthy lifestyle in a fun and supportive environment.

Our summer camps offer boys and girls of all ages a chance to grow and thrive outside traditional classrooms.
